Joann M. Kiser, Secretary

Joann M. Kiser was born was born in 1956 in northern Kentucky. Joann earned her Master of Library Science degree from the University of Kentucky in 1989, and an B.A. degree in Graphic Design from Northern Kentucky University in 1980.

Ms. Kiser has worked for the Clermont County Public Library for 22 years in a variety of capacities. Currently, Joann is the Manager at the Milford-Miami Township Branch Library, and she has served in branch libraries in five of ten Clermont communities: Batavia, New Richmond, Goshen, Amelia, and Milford-Miami. Joann’s long term contributions to Clermont County Public Library include continuing work with the Library’s Staff Recognition Committee and Book Cart Drill Team.

Joann is married to Mark Kiser and the couple has no children.

Her community activities include:

• Joann currently serves as the secretary for the Board of Trustees for the Literacy Council of Clermont and Brown Counties
• Joann began volunteering with the Literacy Council as a trained tutor in 1986.
• Ms. Kiser has represented the Clermont County Public Library on the Even Start Advisory Board from 1992 - 1995.
• Joann volunteered for the Big Brother/Big Sister organization and was an active Big Sister during the 1980s.

Joann enjoys reading, history and antiques.
