Board Members
Jimmi McIntosh
Jimmi McIntosh has been involved in the Clermont County ABLE program for twenty-five years,
serving in the capacity of teacher, coordinator and supervisor. She is proud to have assisted
in the development of “Stay-N-Learn”, a retention demonstration grant that has been shared as a
model throughout the state of Ohio.
Jimmi serves on many Boards and volunteer organizations which focus on children and families.
An organization close to her heart is WillowWood, Inc., a center for grieving children. A group
of twelve individuals began this support group following the murder of a young child by her mother.
As a result, another sibling was left alone so volunteers from WillowWood supported the child and
helped in the grieving process.
Jimmi has earned local as well as statewide recognition. She has served as the Southwest Regional
Director and been recognized as the Outstanding Administrator of the Year by the Ohio Adult Association
for Continuing Education (OAACE). In 2005, she was awarded the Edith Peter Jones Award for her work
with women in Clermont County. In 1997, Ms. McIntosh was awarded Outstanding Alumna from the University
of Cincinnati, Clermont College. She has received several awards recognizing her commitment as a
volunteer.
An active member of her church, Jimmi has served as Outreach Director, Fellowship Chair, and assisted
on numerous committees.
